This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Effectively leads and executes infrastructure transformation initiatives to enable the organization to function in highly scalable manners.
• Develops, executes, and oversees the strategic direction of the IT infrastructure, encompassing hardware, software, and network resources.
• Guarantees that the function delivers efficient and effective technical support services throughout the organization.
• Establishes and maintains IT infrastructure policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
• Works collaboratively across departments to evaluate and address the organization's technological requirements.
• Ensures the high availability and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Oversees IT infrastructure projects from initiation through to implementation and assessment.
• Develops and manages the operational budget, ensuring that resources and assets are handled within the approved financial plan.
• Remains informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to promote continuous improvement and innovation.
• Identifies, creates, and implements enhancements in processes or policies and ensures their adoption within the function and organization.
• Participates in recruitment activities, including candidate selection, involvement in panel and individual interviews, and making hiring decisions.
• Assists colleagues in all aspects of training and development, including performance, behaviors, competencies, and alignment.
• Engages in the successful execution of functional projects as they arise.
• A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of ten years of experience in IT infrastructure and support roles is necessary.
• A minimum of five years of experience in a leadership or managerial capacity is essential.
• A minimum of five years of experience in IT infrastructure planning and development is required.
• A minimum of five years of experience in systems and network architecture, information security principles, and IT best practices is required.
• Proven experience in communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is essential.
• Familiarity with COBIT and ITIL is a plus.
