Senior Director, Product Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the embedded strategic finance partner to the Chief Product Officer and the product leadership team.

• Take ownership of the financial assessment for new product lines and launches from initial concept to post-launch.

• Develop business cases, unit-economics models, pricing strategies, and revenue forecasts.

• Assist with annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and long-term modeling for the Product organization.

• Provide guidance on investment trade-offs and resource distribution across the product portfolio.

• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and market sizing.

• Perform competitive benchmarking and market research.

• Collaborate with corporate development and strategic finance on M&A due diligence and new market entries.

• Create and deliver financial narratives that elucidate product strategy.

• Design financial performance dashboards and executive reports.

• Lead variance analysis accompanied by actionable insights for senior leadership.

• Build and scale the Product Finance function while establishing repeatable financial processes and frameworks.

• Report directly to the SVP of Strategic Finance and collaborate with the CFO, Chief Product Officer, product leadership team, and Head of FP&A.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 13 years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or management consulting.

• Proven track record as an embedded finance business partner influencing roadmap and investment decisions at the C-suite level.

• Experience in constructing financial models and business cases for new product launches, including 0→1 products and new market entries.

• Strong understanding of unit economics, revenue modeling, and scenario analysis.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to simplify complex financial analysis into clear, actionable narratives for both financial and non-financial audiences.

• Experience presenting to executive leadership, including the CFO or Chief Product Officer.

• Ability to independently build financial models and present findings to senior executives.

• Preferred background in digital assets, payments, fintech, or technology.
