This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provides senior leadership across various client accounts or practice areas.
• Oversees strategic management initiatives.
• Develops a mission and collaborates with the management team to ensure a shared understanding of team objectives and goals.
• Works alongside the management team to identify required skills for projects or work activities and aligns these skill requirements with available talent.
• Establishes performance standards for the management team and evaluates success against these standards.
• Innovates business expansion strategies and/or introduces new services.
• Takes charge of leading proposal writing, contracting, client presentations, and pricing strategies.
• Sets growth objectives for the business unit.
• Keeps updated on industry trends and significant pending legislation that may affect the business.
• May maintain specialized technical expertise in a particular disease state, possess expert medical knowledge on reimbursement strategies, and/or have functional knowledge.
• Identifies and collaborates with both internal and external resources and experts.
• Develops succession plans for key members of the management team.
• Recruits, trains, and cultivates senior leaders.
• Provides leadership to the team and acts as a facilitator for learning programs.
• Manages the budget, including P&L responsibilities.
• Approves purchases, contracts, expenses, and may oversee vendor relationships.
• Allocates human and financial resources appropriately to ensure objectives are met.
• Seeks and pursues revenue generation opportunities and manages them effectively to ensure new revenue is realized.
• Trains managers on financial matters related to their job responsibilities.
• Holds overall responsibility for the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of all services provided.
• Identifies risk areas and encourages proactive, ongoing quality improvement.
• Ensures the highest integrity and honesty in all business activities.
• Responsible for cultivating corporate culture, including embracing and promoting company values.
• Supports company programs and initiatives while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Represents the company to associates and the public.
• Requires extensive training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or related fields, typically achieved through a four-year bachelor's degree program or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Generally requires a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of relevant experience.
• Possesses general knowledge of reimbursement and patient assistance programs, as well as database elements and functionality; operational policies and processes, particularly regarding distribution/interfaces.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Capable of proficiently using computers and standard office equipment.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Possesses healthcare research and analysis skills sufficient for supporting payer research, maintaining a healthcare policy library, and managing state-level initiatives.
• Capable of effectively and efficiently resolving associate issues.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
• Strong understanding of industry and company-specific business knowledge.
