This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Comprehensive Growth Strategy: Establish a holistic user acquisition growth strategy encompassing both paid and organic efforts, ensuring they work in harmony rather than in isolation.
• Unit Economics (LTV:CAC): Take ownership of marketing investment effectiveness. Lead forecasting and resource allocation based on LTV, CAC, and viral coefficient metrics, with a clear strategy for how organic and product-led growth channels can lower blended CAC over time.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and align direct reports in executing strategies across paid, organic, and growth channels under a cohesive acquisition framework.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Engineering to prioritize features that enhance product-led acquisition, including growth surfaces, onboarding hooks, network effects, and shareable experiences.
• Community Engagement & Social Proof: Utilize Huckleberry's extensive community of over 5 million families as a key growth asset through user-generated content loops, social sharing initiatives, and peer recommendation strategies.
• Product-Marketing Liaison: Act as the strategic marketing authority within the Growth Pod. Convert acquisition insights, including product-led growth signals like referral rates and viral uplift, into prioritized inputs for the product roadmap.
• Data & Attribution Strategy: Collaborate with Business Analytics to create an attribution model that presents a unified view of paid, organic, and viral acquisition efforts.
• Experimentation Culture: Promote rapid, statistically valid A/B testing across acquisition channels and product interfaces.
• Channel Strategy & Execution Oversight: Manage strategy and budget optimization for paid channels (SEM, Paid Social, Programmatic). Lead content strategy to enhance SEO-driven growth, attracting high-intent users through owned channels.
• Experience: Over 10 years of progressive growth experience in consumer subscription services, including 4+ years in senior leadership roles managing Director-level reports.
• Acquisition Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in both paid (SEM, Paid Social, Programmatic) and organic (SEO, Content, ASO) acquisition strategies, with a proven ability to grow both and understand how to balance them effectively.
• Proven Growth Achievements: A record of scaling a channel, brand, or company from small to large, with tangible before-and-after metrics to showcase your impact.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional proficiency in data analysis, analytics, and business intelligence tools. Strong understanding of attribution modeling, unit economics, and viral loop analysis.
• Startup Competence: Proven capability to excel in a Series B/C environment; resourceful, execution-focused, and intensely focused on LTV:CAC.
• Cross-Functional Influence: Successful track record of influencing product and engineering roadmaps as a key member of a Growth Pod or cross-functional team.
