β’ Define and lead the strategic roadmap for Flashfood's retail platform, including the partner app, onboarding and activation processes, catalog integration, dashboards and reporting, and dynamic pricing strategies.
β’ Infuse extensive retail domain expertise into each planning cycle, ensuring that roadmap discussions reflect the actual operations of grocery retailers.
β’ Evaluate significant opportunities using data, quantify them, and prioritize them β your initial two quarters will establish the build plan and subsequent hiring needs.
β’ Oversee the Retail pod, including engineers, product managers, and designers, with an engineering lead serving as your player-coach on architecture.
β’ Take ownership of the pod's business objectives: activated stores, posted items, partner adoption, and the associated revenue.
β’ Plan team expansion based on validated opportunities, setting clear expectations across functions: precise specifications, sound trade-offs, measurable outcomes, and honest assessments post-launch.
β’ Collaborate closely with enterprise grocery partners β from store associates to corporate buyers β to comprehend operations and translate insights into product features.
β’ Enhance the sales process with in-depth product knowledge: leading discovery sessions, conducting executive demonstrations, and crafting the data narrative that secures national rollouts.
β’ Manage the product aspect of activation: streamline the timeline from signed contract to store launch from months to weeks.
β’ Collaborate with our data and machine learning team to incorporate pricing intelligence and demand signals into the retail product interface.
β’ Advocate for AI-native product development β creating agents that perform genuine operational tasks for retailers, rather than merely providing dashboards.
β’ Function as a senior leader within EPD: pose challenging questions early, champion appropriate trade-offs, and engage others in the process.
β’ A minimum of 10 years of product management experience, including over 5 years managing cross-functional teams towards shared business objectives β preferably in B2B or enterprise software.
β’ Direct experience working for or alongside grocery or retail companies, encompassing merchandising, store operations, item-level catalog data, and the decision-making processes within retail organizations.
β’ Strong proficiency in data analysis β familiarity with integration patterns common in retail and a history of making product decisions based on data rather than intuition.
β’ Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous, high-stakes product areas from hypothesis to launch, resulting in measurable business outcomes.
β’ Experience working directly with enterprise customers and executive stakeholders, translating operational insights into product strategy.
β’ Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced organization where leaders are actively engaged.
β’ Competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
β’ 100% remote work with flexibility and trust.
β’ Mission-driven work focused on reducing food waste and increasing access to affordable food.
β’ A rapidly growing, collaborative team with ambitious goals.
β’ Genuine opportunities for career advancement.
