
Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture β Innovation, Oracle Fusion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
β’ Establish and uphold enterprise architecture (EA) frameworks, standards, and reference architecture across various business domains, including application, data, infrastructure, and integration.
β’ Collaborate with the Governance Committee and Architecture Review Board (ARB) to ensure adherence to established standards.
β’ Develop and enforce architectural principles, design patterns, and criteria for technology selection.
β’ Align IT strategy with business capabilities by creating capability maps and future-state architecture roadmaps.
β’ Provide architectural oversight for significant programs, ensuring they are scalable, interoperable, and sustainable in the long term.
β’ Lead the creation and adoption of enterprise reference architectures for both on-premises and cloud applications, data, integration, security, and digital platforms.
β’ Standardize technology stacks, APIs, and integration patterns, including microservices and event-driven architecture.
β’ Define best practices for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, as well as platform engineering.
β’ Ensure compliance with regulatory, cybersecurity, and governance requirements.
β’ Establish and scale a unified DevSecFinOps model, integrating development velocity, security posture, and cost optimization across Taylor.
β’ Promote the use of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automated testing, and release management frameworks.
β’ Integrate security controls into development workflows and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
β’ Assess the current application landscape and formulate modernization strategies, including rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, retiring, or replacing applications.
β’ Lead the transition towards cloud-native, API-first, and composable architectures.
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize modernization initiatives based on their value and associated risks.
β’ Identify, evaluate, and incubate emerging technologies such as Specification-Driven Development, AI/ML, Agentic AI, automation, and data platforms.
β’ Build relationships with technology vendors, startups, and system integrators.
β’ Mentor architects and engineering teams, promoting a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
β’ 12β15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or senior engineering leadership roles.
β’ Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
β’ Extensive expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as in microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
β’ Demonstrated success in implementing DevOps and integrating security and financial governance practices (DevSecFinOps).
β’ Familiarity with architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or similar methodologies.
β’ Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, compliance, and risk management.
β’ Excellent skills in stakeholder management and executive-level communication.
