This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Oversee the formulation and implementation of the medical affairs strategy for the company's late-stage oncology product.
β’ Offer therapeutic insights to steer strategic choices, prioritize evidence generation, and manage lifecycle planning.
β’ Act as a scientific and strategic collaborator with Commercial, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and other departments.
β’ Establish and nurture robust relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic researchers, and professional organizations.
β’ Direct scientific engagement initiatives at prominent oncology conferences.
β’ Lead the development and assessment of high-quality medical documentation, including: Scientific narratives and core slide presentations, Medical information responses and FAQs, Advisory board content, Training materials for field medical teams.
β’ Propel publication planning in collaboration with internal writers, external specialists, and publication agencies.
β’ Identify emerging trends, competitive insights, and unmet needs to shape strategy and evidence generation.
β’ Supervise the medical review of promotional and non-promotional materials.
β’ Provide scientific evaluation and expertise for independent investigator-sponsored studies.
β’ Ensure that all medical affairs activities comply with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
β’ An advanced medical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
β’ 7-10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs within the biopharmaceutical sector, with substantial oncology knowledge.
β’ Strong grasp of oncology clinical development, competitive landscape, and evolving treatment standards.
β’ Proven leadership in medical communications, publication strategy, and development of scientific narratives.
β’ Experience engaging with global KOLs, academic institutions, and professional societies.
β’ A solid understanding of Health Economics and the Payer environment is preferred.
β’ Capability to analyze and integrate complex data sets.
