Senior Director, Medicaid Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead the Compliance Advisory & Research and Compliance Response & Escalation teams.

• Provide strategic direction across multifaceted compliance functions.

• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to steer compliance research efforts.

• Oversee regulatory disclosures across multiple markets.

• Assist in ensuring that key business initiatives adhere to relevant federal, state, and contractual obligations.

• Support direct communication with state regulators.

• Manage all aspects of Compliance research for the Medicaid line of business within the Enterprise.

• Act as senior leadership in the Compliance Risk Assessment process.

• Work in conjunction with the auditing and monitoring team, corrections team, and regulatory change management team to facilitate research and implementation.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience required.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Compliance program management and contracts with State Medicaid programs, including internal and State audits, is required.

• At least 5 years of experience with healthcare regulatory agencies in the development of compliance and fraud programs is required.

• A minimum of 5 years overseeing the implementation of contract requirements is required.

• Preferred: 10+ years in Compliance/Enterprise Risk Management.
