This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +14 more states.
• Develop and spearhead marketplace strategy encompassing dispatch, pricing, and incentives to enhance speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage job routing and allocation logic, optimizing for geography, urgency, and performance while ensuring fairness and quality.
• Create and refine pay and pricing models that promote customer competitiveness and sustainable earnings for process servers.
• Design and oversee incentive programs that encourage essential behaviors such as speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to convert strategy into scalable systems and tools.
• Own key marketplace performance metrics (e.g., utilization, time-to-placement, completion rates, cost efficiency) and drive ongoing improvements.
• Identify marketplace inefficiencies and implement solutions that enhance performance while maintaining network trust.
• Lead experimental initiatives, including pilots and A/B testing, to assess and scale modifications in dispatch, pricing, and incentives.
• Work alongside data teams to bolster forecasting, coverage planning, and marketplace insights.
• Ensure effective communication of marketplace logic and updates across internal teams and the wider network.
• Proven experience leading strategy in intricate environments such as marketplaces, gig economy platforms, logistics, or similar systems.
• In-depth understanding of supply and demand dynamics, pricing strategies, dispatch or routing logic, and incentive design.
• Established ability to generate measurable business results and influence user behavior.
• Proficiency in unit economics and financial modeling, with the capability to assess trade-offs among cost, quality, and speed.
• Experience in designing and executing experiments or pilots with well-defined hypotheses and measurable outcomes.
• Proven track record of working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments and providing direction without fully defined roadmaps.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in building or scaling systems in early or growth-stage environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex concepts and strategies.
