Senior Director, Legal and Compliance Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to sustain and improve the infrastructure that fosters a culture of compliance.

• Oversee project management associated with legal and compliance operational excellence.

• Work across departments to pinpoint policy and guidance requirements; develop and enhance policies, procedures, and documentation.

• Spearhead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of risk-based compliance training programs.

• Assist in the annual compliance risk assessment process.

• Offer practical compliance advice to business stakeholders.

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (JD, MBA, or Master’s) is highly preferred.

• 12–15+ years of increasingly responsible experience in pharmaceutical or biotech compliance, legal, or related fields.

• Proven track record in implementing policy governance frameworks and compliance training initiatives.

• Strong leadership abilities, organizational insight, sound judgment, and business acumen.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.

• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and industry guidance pertaining to the pharmaceutical sector.
