This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for creating the People Strategy to support both short-term and long-term functional objectives in alignment with Vera’s corporate goals.
• Collaborate with HR specialists to implement the People Strategy, specifically:
• Talent Acquisition to facilitate the attraction and recruitment of essential talent.
• Total Rewards to develop compensation and benefits packages that aid in hiring, retaining, and recognizing employees.
• Employee Relations to enhance people management capabilities and ensure proactive performance management.
• Communications to assist with change management and various initiatives.
• Talent Development to promote leadership growth and succession planning.
• Regularly evaluate organizational requirements as the business progresses to guarantee the People Strategy aligns with objectives and meets business necessities.
• Counsel and mentor senior leaders in addressing complex challenges related to organizational design, development, and change leadership.
• Engage in and lead corporate-wide programs that improve the overall employee experience and support the company's growth and success.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
• Over 12 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in developing and executing HR strategies in the biotechnology sector is essential.
• Expert-level proficiency in developing strategic workforce plans from inception to execution.
• A successful track record in supporting client groups in a consultative capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of organizational development, process management, and change management.
• History of being both an advocate for their business unit and a model representative of HR best practices.
• Experience in managing and mentoring high-performing HR talent.
• Skilled in conducting thorough, effective, and objective investigations with appropriate management recommendations.
• Exceptional communicator, both in writing and verbally, capable of educating and influencing through formal and informal channels.
• Highly experienced in talent management, succession planning, and career development.
• Strong background in managing or leading culture and change management initiatives or organizational effectiveness efforts.
• Acknowledges the necessity of being highly responsive to the needs of senior management, colleagues, and staff.
• Understanding of employment laws, concepts, and practices related to administering various human resources programs.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from diverse socioeconomic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Capable of managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in designing and delivering Sales Incentive programs is preferred.
