πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Translate the national strategy into key priorities, initiatives, and actionable plans that further ACS objectives.

β€’ Cultivate valuable partnerships and act as the representative for ACS with external organizations, agencies, experts, funders, and stakeholders.

β€’ Function as a recognized subject-matter expert, interpret emerging evidence, shape recommendations, and represent ACS in external forums.

β€’ Manage the entire program lifecycle from design and implementation to evaluation and ongoing improvement.

β€’ Align internal functions and resources, oversee budgets and operations, and ensure programs meet established outcomes and organizational standards.

β€’ Promote equitable access to high-quality, evidence-based cancer care through scalable strategies, programs, tools, and partnerships.

β€’ Support sustainable models of high-quality, equitable oncology navigation and integrate navigation into broader organizational objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's Degree is required.

β€’ RN or PA certification/license is necessary.

β€’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in the cancer care delivery sector is required.

β€’ At least 5 years of progressive experience with expertise in program development and execution, healthcare delivery, program building, execution, and evaluating impact.

β€’ Extensive knowledge of patient navigation, oncology care delivery, cancer survivorship, and evidence-based interventions throughout the care continuum.

β€’ Proven ability to provide vision and strategic direction for complex, interdependent initiatives with measurable outcomes.

β€’ Proficiency in strategic planning and executing nationwide programs that align with organizational priorities.

β€’ Capability to interpret complex research, identify optimal approaches, and convert evidence into actionable strategies.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to manage and develop diverse staff teams.

β€’ Skill in building strategic relationships with health systems, clinical organizations, and a variety of stakeholder groups.

β€’ Advanced communication skills to effectively present to diverse audiences and represent the organization as a thought leader.

β€’ Must be willing to travel occasionally.
