
Senior Director, Health Plan – Self-Funded Employer Relationships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ownership of client transitions, implementations, and lifecycle management.
• Acting as the primary executive responsible for the transition of new clients from the Sales team to contract execution.
• Facilitating the formal handoff process from Sales to Operations, ensuring clarity in scope, alignment with contractual obligations, performance guarantees, and readiness for implementation.
• Collaborating with Operations to create a summary implementation plan for client alignment and progress tracking.
• Establishing a governance structure for implementation, including milestone tracking and a schedule for executive reporting.
• Ensuring that the go-live is achieved on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual commitments.
• Working in partnership with implementation, operations, and consultative teams to ensure successful onboarding.
• Transitioning clients from the implementation stage to ongoing service with clearly defined performance metrics and a value roadmap for the first year.
• Maintaining continuous lifecycle ownership throughout renewal and expansion phases.
• Building trusted relationships with C-suite executives (HR, Finance, Benefits, Population Health leadership).
• Leading regular executive business reviews (QBRs), performance assessments, and strategic planning meetings.
• Overseeing Guidehealth's accountability for Total Cost of Care (TCOC).
• Analyzing client-specific claims, utilization, quality, and engagement data to pinpoint cost containment opportunities.
• Identifying avenues for service expansion within current accounts.
• Striving for excellence in member and patient experiences.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare client service and strategy, program implementation, and/or support for value-based care services and technologies.
• Proven experience in leading client implementations and managing cross-functional onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of healthcare and value-based care dynamics.
• Familiarity with utilization management processes.
• Understanding of claims processing and benefit administration.
• Experience in population health analytics.
• Knowledge of HEDIS quality measurement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with executive-level clients.
• Strong financial acumen with the capability to analyze cost-of-care drivers and return on investment (ROI).
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to client locations.
