• Lead the identification, prioritization, and segmentation of global (ex-U.S.) markets across key regions.
• Create and implement go-to-market strategies customized for specific geographies and indications.
• Define the most effective pathways for market entry, including prioritization of indications.
• Collaborate closely with Clinical and Regulatory teams to develop programs that meet both commercial goals and regulatory standards.
• Influence the design and sequencing of clinical studies to optimize global commercial potential.
• Ensure stakeholder alignment to maintain a cohesive strategy.
• Work with Market Access to assess pricing and reimbursement dynamics in international markets, including health technology assessment (HTA) environments.
• Identify and address risks associated with international reference pricing and Most Favored Nation (MFN) considerations.
• Lead business development initiatives to identify, assess, and secure strategic partnerships for market entry.
• Develop and support various partnership models (e.g., licensing, co-promotion, regional partnerships).
• Manage partner strategies to ensure successful implementation in key markets.
• Conduct thorough market assessments, including epidemiology, competitive landscape, and access dynamics.
• Create commercial forecasts and scenario analyses to guide prioritization and investment decisions.
• Offer strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data-driven insights.
• Over 10 years of commercial experience in biopharmaceuticals, with a focus on global or ex-U.S. marketing.
• Proven success in developing and executing strategies across multiple markets.
• Extensive experience in chronic disease markets is essential; cardiovascular experience is preferred.
• Established capability to collaborate with clinical and regulatory teams to influence development programs.
• Experience in early-stage or pre-market settings (Phase II or earlier is highly preferred).
• A solid track record in business development and partnership execution.
