
Senior Director, Fund Administration – Real Estate Credit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the complete fund accounting process for a portfolio of real estate private credit clients, which includes NAV calculations, preparation of financial statements, processing of capital activities (calls, distributions, recallable capital), and calculations for fees and carry.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers, from initial sales to identifying expansion opportunities, to foster customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
• Actively address the most complex issues faced by customers; review and authorize customer-facing deliverables to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality results.
• Lead strategic initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally on projects concerning automation, reporting, product functionality, and the introduction of new service offerings.
• Serve as a subject matter expert by offering thorough, in-depth consulting to our clients and internal teams.
• Function as a senior point of contact for client CFOs, controllers, and finance teams; professionally handle escalations, set and uphold service expectations, and proactively identify issues before they escalate.
• Promote continuous improvement in workflows, controls, and documentation; collaborate with internal technology and product teams to enhance the support that Juniper Square's platform provides for real estate credit accounting needs.
• Over 12 years of experience in private equity fund accounting with a fund administrator, focusing on fund-level accounting and reporting, including complex fund structures and consolidations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of complex accounting transactions, private equity investment structures, and reporting requirements for private equity funds.
• Strong understanding of waterfall calculations, performance metrics (IRRs), distributions, and capital call calculations.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, hyper-growth startup environment.
• Enthusiasm for technology and an eagerness to utilize it to streamline business operations and enhance user experience.
• A strategic mindset with the capability to grasp both intricate details and the broader perspective.
• Exceptional client service, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is an advantage but not mandatory.
