This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take full responsibility for the delivery of Investor Services across a portfolio of the firm’s most significant and intricate client relationships, which includes major enterprise engagements that require high-level coordination and partnership at the executive level.
• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team of Directors and their globally distributed teams, covering areas such as investor onboarding, AML compliance, treasury operations, CRM administration, and investor portal delivery.
• Develop and implement the organizational structure, staffing model, and capability roadmap necessary to accommodate substantial new business volume while maintaining service quality and team well-being.
• Establish and uphold a comprehensive quality assurance framework within Investor Services — setting standards, audit processes, and feedback mechanisms that provide leadership insight into operational health and instill client confidence in our execution.
• Manage the strategic relationship with key enterprise clients, acting as an executive escalation point and a proactive thought partner regarding how Juniper Square can adapt to meet their evolving needs.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Product, Fund Accounting, Customer Success, Sales, and Compliance to ensure the operating model aligns with platform development and market commitments.
• Oversee workforce planning for a large, globally distributed organization — including headcount modeling, geographic footprint decisions, and succession planning for essential leadership positions.
• Establish and manage the KPI framework for Investor Services, converting operational data into insights that guide resourcing decisions, client discussions, and strategic planning at the executive level.
• Identify and spearhead initiatives to enhance automation, workflow efficiency, and controls — particularly in high-volume, high-stakes areas such as LP onboarding and capital event processing.
• Represent Investor Services in firm-wide strategic discussions, providing operational insights and market intelligence to product, go-to-market, and leadership planning.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in investor services within a fund administration setting.
• At least 10 years of experience in leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to build and scale multi-tiered leadership structures across various geographies.
• Profound operational knowledge throughout the investor lifecycle — encompassing LP onboarding, AML/KYC, capital activities, treasury workflows, CRM systems, and investor portal management.
• Proven history of managing complex, high-stakes client engagements at the enterprise level, including direct accountability for executive-level client relationships.
• Experience in organizational design — not just managing headcount, but also creating the structure, roles, and processes that a growing business requires before experiencing the repercussions of not having them.
• Demonstrated capability to develop and run quality assurance programs that reveal operational risks, foster accountability, and enhance outcomes at scale.
• Comfortable working across private equity, venture capital, private credit, and real asset fund structures in multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong executive presence with the communication skills necessary to engage credibly with sophisticated clients, internal leadership, and distributed teams simultaneously.
