This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Oversee and cultivate a team of fund accounting experts dedicated to supporting Juniper Square’s fund administration clients.
• Establish and enhance relationships with customers from the sales phase to expansion opportunities to foster customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
• Actively engage in resolving the most intricate customer issues; review and authorize customer-facing deliverables to ensure consistently high-quality outcomes.
• Spearhead strategic initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally on projects related to automation, reporting, product features, and new service offerings.
• Serve as a subject matter expert by delivering comprehensive and in-depth consulting to both our clients and internal teams.
• Over 12 years of experience in private equity fund accounting with a fund administrator, focusing on fund-level accounting and reporting, including complex fund structures and consolidations.
• More than 5 years of experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Profound understanding of complex accounting transactions, private equity investment structures, and reporting requirements for private equity funds.
• Strong knowledge of waterfall calculations, performance metrics (IRRs), distributions, and capital call calculations.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a rapidly growing startup environment.
• Enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to using it to optimize business operations and enhance user experience.
• Strategic mindset with the capability to grasp both detailed elements and overarching concepts.
• Exceptional client service and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is a plus, but not mandatory.
