• Provide comprehensive leadership for the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function within Warner’s finance division.
• Oversee a team of financial analysts to ensure the execution of all functional duties.
• Core responsibilities of the FP&A function include: acting as the financial planning liaison to designated divisions for the creation of the annual budget and conducting monthly variance analysis, leading discussions on variances with departmental and divisional leadership.
• Collaborate with the M&A team to formulate budgets and pro forma reporting for acquired entities.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business operations.
• Enhance financial reports to effectively communicate results and variances to departmental and business leaders.
• Assist in the monthly close process, which entails summarizing and consolidating results against the budget and providing commentary on variances.
• Ensure all financial reports are validated for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Partner with departmental leaders for monthly financial reviews.
• Automate and optimize reporting and business processes.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and perform other duties as required to support the team.
• Assist with additional projects as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Over 20 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, and/or FP&A.
• Experience with private equity-backed companies is an advantage.
• Familiarity with accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, research, resolution, and data analysis skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements.
• Computer proficiency, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, ADP, and other enterprise software is a plus.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
