• Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function within Warner’s finance department.
• Oversee a team of financial analysts to ensure all functional responsibilities are met.
• Key responsibilities of the FP&A function include acting as the financial planning liaison to designated divisions for the creation of the annual budget and conducting monthly variance analysis, facilitating variance discussions with department and division leadership.
• Collaborate with the M&A team to formulate budgets and proforma reporting for acquired entities.
• Develop and uphold financial models to bolster the business.
• Enhance financial reports to effectively convey results and variances to the department and business leaders regarding the budget.
• Assist in the monthly close process, which entails summarizing and consolidating results against the budget and providing commentary on variances.
• Ensure all financial reports are validated for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Collaborate with department heads for monthly financial reviews.
• Streamline and automate reporting and business processes.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and perform additional duties as required to support the team.
• Contribute to other assigned projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Over 20 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, and/or FP&A.
• Experience with private equity-backed companies is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, documentation skills, research and resolution capabilities, and data analysis proficiency.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial statements.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, ADP, and other enterprise software is a plus.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact professionally with employees and vendors.
