Senior Director, FP&A

📋 Description

• The Senior Director of FP&A serves as a key finance leader at the enterprise level, possessing comprehensive strategic oversight of financial planning, revenue and margin analysis, as well as cross-functional business collaboration across HealthEdge's SaaS and BPaaS divisions.

• This position, reporting directly to the SVP of Finance, is responsible not only for providing financial insights but also for shaping the strategic direction of the finance department and influencing the organization's capital allocation, performance management, and growth strategies.

• The role emphasizes continuous improvement across relevant business lines, identifying process, tool, and team capability gaps, and leading initiatives to address these in alignment with the overall finance strategy.

• Responsible for managing the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for all involved functions, including Product Development, SaaS, and BPaaS.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required.

• An MBA, CPA, or CFA is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in FP&A or finance business partnering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing a team of two or more direct reports.

• Proven experience in supporting Product, SaaS, or BPaaS organizations, with a strong grasp of the financial and operational distinctions among these business models.

• A background in a SaaS, technology, or software company is strongly preferred; experience in healthcare technology is an advantage.

• A successful history of functioning as a strategic business partner to senior and C-suite executives, with the capacity to influence without direct authority.

• Demonstrated experience in leading finance transformation efforts, including systems implementations, process redesign, or operational model changes.

• Experience in leading or assisting with organizational change management initiatives, encompassing communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and adoption tracking.

• Experience in supporting M&A due diligence and post-merger financial integration is preferred.
