Senior Director, Financial Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand the Planning Leadership Team, mentoring them to become exceptional talent developers who excel in the human aspects of advice.

• Act as the operational proxy for the VP, independently managing the operational layer and making critical tactical decisions.

• Take ownership of key performance indicators – pod NPS, planner capacity, and member engagement on advice – across a large, growing workforce, ensuring that high volume does not compromise quality.

• Guide the organization through the evolution from technological proficiency to AI fluency.

• Foster functional alignment to ensure that every member enjoys a high-quality experience at all interaction points.

• Convert intricate business strategies into a compelling "why" that inspires organizational action and promotes talent development.

⛳️ Requirements

• CFP® Designation (Required).

• Over 12 years of experience in financial planning or related services; direct experience as a financial planner is essential.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a "manager of managers" role.

• Outstanding strategic thinking, communication, emotional intelligence, and complex problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrated success in leading large organizations (50+) through periods of rapid growth and transformation.

• Experience in FinTech is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• Specialized expertise and/or experience in areas such as tax, estate planning, or insurance is a plus, but not required.
