This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and the reporting framework across the organization.
• Maintain a clean, compliant, and audit-ready accounting function encompassing GAAP close, revenue recognition, consolidations, financial operations, and the initial external audit.
• Collaborate with operating businesses to analyze unit economics and overall performance.
• Manage liquidity, financing relationships, the investment portfolio, and interactions with outsourced partners.
• Advise on and implement capital allocation and tax strategies in conjunction with the President and CFO.
• Define the target state for the finance technology stack and data environment.
• Lead and nurture a streamlined finance team through systems, automation, and established standards.
• Report directly to the President and CFO.
• Demonstrated ownership of FP&A and reporting architecture within a multi-entity environment.
• Proven experience in generating plans and forecasts utilized by leadership to manage the business effectively.
• Successfully led a finance function through GAAP close and external audit processes.
• Extensive knowledge of revenue recognition, consolidations, and robust controls frameworks.
• Hands-on experience partnering with operating businesses in a financial capacity.
• Capability to refine unit economics and enhance business-unit performance.
• Proficient in overseeing investments, liquidity, and partner relationships.
• Skilled at transforming analysis into capital allocation decisions for executive stakeholders.
• History of modernizing or constructing a finance technology stack.
• Experience leveraging systems and automation to enhance finance function capabilities.
• Over 12 years of progressive leadership experience in finance.
• Direct management experience of finance leaders across various disciplines.
• Possess a player-coach mentality.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA designation is preferred.
• Standard business hours with flexibility during close cycles, audit periods, and executive planning timelines.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
