This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Collaboratively create, lead, and implement sales strategies along with action plans and growth initiatives to enhance core growth, capture market share from competitors, and position Molecular Devices as the authority in 3D biology screening.
• Direct, enhance, and maintain essential commercial processes: Daily Management, Funnel Management, onboarding of team members, etc.
• Provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship for all direct reports.
• Foster sustainable success and organizational efficiency through the implementation of standardized work processes.
• Utilize data analysis tools and specialized team members to gain business insights that aid in precise forecasting, decisions regarding new product development, and optimization of team member performance.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental business partners to enhance all top-level KPIs at Molecular Devices (core growth, working capital turns, inventory turns, associate retention, etc.).
• Leverage and advocate for Danaher Business System Tools to facilitate process improvement, standardized work, and visual management.
• Promote engagement to cultivate organizational and associate capabilities; nurture future leaders and create a diverse talent bench.
• Extensive experience in managing sales and guiding commercial associates through periods of change.
• Commercial background in the life sciences or drug discovery sector for an organization with a sales and service portfolio.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Salesforce.com, Power BI, ServiceMax, and Oracle.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as commercial, life sciences, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with the Danaher Business System (DBS) or comparable lean business tools.
• Preferably possessing recognized certification in small team performance management or commercial funnel management tools.
• Willingness to travel 30% - 40%, including overnight stays, within assigned territory or locations.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
