This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more states.
• Lead and cultivate a team of program managers focused on business initiatives that support strategic and enterprise transformation efforts.
• Supervise multiple programs at the portfolio level, prioritizing, managing dependencies, assessing risks, tracking milestones, and considering funding and benefit delivery.
• Manage portfolio-level trade-offs among priorities, resources, funding, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop clear delivery plans from ambiguous or evolving requirements.
• Serve as a senior escalation point and problem-solving partner for program managers and stakeholders.
• Advocate for practical program management disciplines, change frameworks, and consistent operational methods across Global Operations and broader business partners.
• Implement agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies tailored to the project needs.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the PMO operating model, including process improvements, program governance, and the utilization of tools, data, and AI-enabled practices.
• Extensive experience in senior program management, enterprise PMO, transformation, or business change leadership within a complex organization.
• Proven track record of overseeing multiple programs or a broader portfolio.
• Strong program management capabilities, including planning, governance, delivery cadence, dependency management, risk assessment, and focus on benefits.
• Experience in leading, mentoring, or developing program managers or similar delivery professionals.
• Ability to create structure from ambiguity and collaborate effectively with senior business stakeholders.
• Pragmatic and enabling leadership approach.
• Background in business and technology-driven change initiatives.
• Proficiency in adapting between agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methods.
• Confidence in working with technology-driven change and technical teams.
• Experience in sectors such as financial services, education, professional associations, EdTech, consulting, or other environments with complex stakeholder dynamics is advantageous.
• Experience in refreshing PMO operations, change frameworks, portfolio governance, program reporting, or benefits realization practices is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Prosci, or similar credentials are beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled process improvements, program tooling, portfolio analytics, or delivery automation is a differentiator.
