
Senior Director, Ecosystem Product – Builder Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and implement the ecosystem strategy that aligns with HubSpot's Builder Platform vision, empowering developers, partners, and go-to-market builders to develop solutions on and around HubSpot.
• Shape the interaction of first-party, second-party, and third-party agents with HubSpot through APIs, MCP, and emerging agent frameworks.
• Lead API parity initiatives to ensure that customers and partners can consistently access HubSpot capabilities through both user interfaces and programmatic methods.
• Collaborate closely with leaders from Data Platform, Partnerships, and Product Hub to create a cohesive builder experience across HubSpot's intelligence, data, and work layers.
• Formulate monetization strategies for APIs, ecosystem products, and agent-driven experiences that facilitate HubSpot's shift towards outcome-based and consumption-based business models.
• Guide and develop a senior, multi-team product organization spanning platform, marketplace, and ecosystem experiences.
• Enhance the developer experience by improving API/MCP quality, documentation, tooling, governance, and platform reliability.
• Specify how developers, partners, and go-to-market builders can create AI-driven applications, workflows, agents, and integrations that yield measurable customer outcomes.
• Foster a top-tier marketplace experience that allows customers to discover, assess, and adopt ecosystem solutions.
• Collaborate across functions with Developer Relations, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to integrate ecosystem solutions into the company’s flywheel.
• Establish operational models, decision-making frameworks, and execution rhythms that promote rapid, data-informed ecosystem innovation.
• Represent HubSpot externally to developers, partners, and industry leaders to influence ecosystem strategy and credibility.
• Over 10 years of experience in product management, including leading large, multi-team product organizations.
• Proven track record in building and scaling developer platforms, APIs, app marketplaces, or ecosystem products catering to extensive developer, partner, or builder communities.
• Experience in evolving platforms to support AI-driven workflows, agents, MCP-enabled experiences, or agent ecosystems.
• Familiarity with partner ecosystems, strategic integrations, marketplaces, or models for platform monetization.
• Documented success in transforming ecosystems into growth engines that influence acquisition, retention, or revenue.
• Strong insights into AI, agents, platform ecosystems, and how agent-based workflows alter the design of developer platforms, marketplaces, and customer experiences.
• Experience collaborating with Developer Relations, developer communities, partner programs, or functions focused on ecosystems.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at the executive level.
