• **About the role** We are looking for a Founding Director for Workforce Intelligence Research to assist in the development and expansion of the Workforce Intelligence Lab (WIL).

• This is a part-time, strategic leadership position aimed at establishing the operational and institutional foundation of WIL as the initiative advances.

• The ideal candidate should possess experience in:

• - workforce research

• - initiatives in the labor market

• - workforce development

• - coordination of research

• - collaboration with universities

• - workforce analytics

• - development of grants

• - public policy research

• - applied research programs

• - forming institutional partnerships

• This role is not intended to be a conventional academic or recruiting position.

• Rather, the focus is on building:

• - infrastructure for workforce intelligence

• - systems for fellowship coordination

• - processes for publication

• - collaborative research efforts

• - methodologies for workforce intelligence

• - partnerships with institutions

• - future opportunities for grants and workforce initiatives

• - Assist in coordinating and supporting the WIL fellowship ecosystem

• - Aid in the publication and reporting workflows related to workforce intelligence

• - Help in identifying relevant opportunities for grants, partnerships, and workforce initiatives

• - Support the coordination of workforce intelligence research and contributor organizations

• - Assist in outreach efforts with universities and institutions

• - Help establish scalable processes and documentation systems for operational research

• - Provide strategic guidance concerning workforce intelligence initiatives and institutional growth

• - Contribute to the long-term development of WIL as an initiative focused on workforce intelligence and planning
