
Senior Director, Due Diligence and Onboarding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Take ownership of and manage the daily operations of the Onboarding & Due Diligence function.
• Lead and nurture a high-performing team of due diligence analysts.
• Define and implement staffing models along with workload distribution strategies.
• Establish, monitor, and consistently enhance service level agreements (SLAs).
• Foster a culture of operational excellence while identifying workflow bottlenecks.
• Receive and implement compliance frameworks created by the Enterprise Compliance Advisory.
• Supervise the execution of risk-based due diligence frameworks for all categories of customer and partner relationships.
• Manage the ongoing periodic review program for fintech partners.
• Act as a representative of the Onboarding & Due Diligence function during regulatory examinations.
• 10-12+ years of progressive experience in BSA/AML compliance.
• At least 7 years of direct management experience leading compliance operations teams.
• Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferred.
• In-depth subject matter expertise in KYC/DD requirements, CIP obligations, and beneficial ownership regulations.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, rules, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA PATRIOT Act.
• Experience in leading or contributing to regulatory examinations and internal audits.
• Proven track record in designing and enhancing compliance operations.
• Familiarity with identity verification technologies and risk management platforms.
• CAMS or an equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred.
