This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the U.S. consumer pricing and non-reimbursed channel strategy as well as performance initiatives for MariTide and future OaR indications and assets.
• Convert value propositions along with consumer and market insights into effective cash-price and channel strategies.
• Create pricing governance and operational models to ensure high-quality pricing decisions.
• Direct consumer pricing market research for both launch and lifecycle pricing decisions.
• Spearhead the consumer cash pricing strategy and its execution across various non-reimbursed routes, including direct-to-patient, retail cash, telehealth providers, and pharmacies.
• Propose pricing architecture, guardrails, and lifecycle actions to enhance access, demand, persistence, and net sales.
• Integrate consumer and cash-channel insights and convert them into recommendations for executives.
• Establish and guide consumer pricing governance, encompassing decision rights, escalation paths, review schedules, and scenario analyses.
• Manage the strategy for consumer pricing, discounts, and offers during launches and throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop negotiation frameworks for cash-channel partners and lead strategic negotiations when necessary.
• Define and oversee non-reimbursed channel gross-to-net and financial frameworks in collaboration with Finance, Forecasting, Pricing & Contracting, and Trade.
• Collaborate with PAR, direct-to-patient, Trade, Operations, and digital teams to meet implementation requirements.
• Present strategic options and materials that enable decision-making to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Develop integrated consumer pricing research programs and advanced pricing research and analytical frameworks.
• Establish pre-launch and post-launch consumer pricing learning agendas, research priorities, and decision triggers.
• Doctorate degree with 5 years of commercial experience or Master’s degree with 8 years of commercial experience or Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of commercial experience.
• Proven ability to tackle complex business challenges in consumer-focused, high-growth healthcare markets.
• In-depth understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical consumer and HCP marketing, as well as insight development.
• Familiarity with retail and cash-based pricing models, cash-pay or direct-to-patient models, channel economics, and pricing/discount governance.
• Preferred experience in obesity, consumer health, retail healthcare, or similarly intricate categories.
• Demonstrated history in developing consumer pricing architecture, launch offers, and price-promotion strategies.
• Proven experience in leading pricing decisions and negotiations.
• Strong executive presence with experience supporting senior governance and decision-making bodies.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and achieve consensus among diverse, global stakeholders.
• Solid quantitative skills with the ability to articulate financial tradeoffs and performance metrics.
• Experience in designing decision governance and presenting concise, data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent executive communication capabilities.
• A track record of escalating responsibilities and managing multiple concurrent workstreams in a matrixed launch environment.
• Capability to translate consumer and channel insights into actionable strategies.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% based on business and organizational needs.
