This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a trusted thought partner to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) — anticipating challenges, rigorously evaluating ideas, and converting strategy into actionable plans.
• Develop materials suitable for board presentations, executive briefs, and internal communications that are precise, engaging, and reliable.
• Gather data points, integrate commercial insights, and present the information required for the CCO to make informed decisions.
• Foster alignment across various commercial projects — handling stakeholder relationships, addressing obstacles, and ensuring initiatives progress smoothly.
• Take charge of program management for non-sales commercial projects across marketing, operations, and cross-departmental initiatives.
• Coordinate dependencies with adjacent teams, ensuring seamless transitions and adherence to timelines.
• Establish meeting rhythms, conduct pipeline assessments, and maintain HubSpot hygiene — creating the operational cadence that keeps the commercial team efficient.
• Spearhead the commercial team's best practices Center of Excellence: documenting effective strategies, recording unsuccessful ones, and preparing them for adoption by sales operations and leadership.
• Guide the adoption and management of new tools, processes, and methodologies, crafting rollout strategies, role-specific playbooks, and training programs.
• Implement AI agents and develop AI-driven workflows that significantly enhance the productivity and decision-making capabilities of the commercial team.
• Stay informed about the AI tooling landscape — discerning what is beneficial for implementation and what is not, and acting accordingly.
• Establish feedback mechanisms and iterative processes to continually enhance existing systems.
• Lead internal commercial special projects, including the Commercial Roundtable and other critical initiatives spearheaded by the CCO.
• Collaborate with the CCO and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment with the overarching mission.
• Over 10 years of experience, including 3–5 years in management consulting (strategy, operations, or go-to-market focus at MBB, Big 4, or boutique strategy firms).
• Preferred 3-5 years of commercialization experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors.
• Proven experience in a venture-backed or rapidly scaling company — achieving 3–10x revenue or headcount growth within a 2–3 year period. Not just a bystander during hypergrowth, but actively involved in the building process.
• Practical experience in deploying AI agents and creating workflows around large language models (LLMs) within a commercial or operational context— possessing real implementation experience that led to successful adoption outcomes.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills— capable of creating a board deck that articulates a clear narrative and drafting an executive memo that necessitates no follow-up.
• High proficiency in HubSpot or a similar CRM; understanding pipeline hygiene and the impact of data quality on commercial decision-making.
