This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation of market intelligence and assessments of the competitive landscape in essential therapeutic and technological domains.
• Analyze market dimensions, growth patterns, unmet needs, and commercialization dynamics to guide strategic choices.
• Generate competitive insights related to biotech, pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, and emerging technology entities.
• Keep track of external trends such as partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital funding, and pipeline advancements.
• Develop analytical models, including Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM), revenue projections, and opportunity evaluations.
• Produce executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and strategic market insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess commercial viability and institutional compatibility.
• Identify strategic whitespace opportunities for new capabilities, partnerships, or ventures.
• Assist in the formulation of business cases aligned with research and commercialization objectives.
• Create scalable frameworks, templates, and processes for market intelligence and strategic initiatives.
• A Master’s degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD, PharmD, MPH) is highly preferred.
• 8–12+ years of experience in life sciences strategy, market intelligence, commercial strategy, consulting, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience in constructing market assessments, competitive analyses, and revenue models.
• Strong skills in analytical reasoning, financial evaluation, and strategic thinking.
• Outstanding communication and executive presentation skills.
• Preferred experience in oncology, precision medicine, biologics, diagnostics, AI-enabled technologies, or related fields.
• Capability to convert complex scientific and clinical data into straightforward, actionable insights.
• Proven success in operating within cross-functional, matrixed settings.
