This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead and manage data management activities throughout the clinical portfolio, ensuring that all studies deliver high-quality, timely, and compliant data.
• Provide strategic guidance for data management in relation to NDA submissions, including database locking, submission readiness, and preparation for regulatory inspections.
• Build, lead, and nurture the data management team through hiring, performance management, and skills development.
• Act as the main point of contact with external partners to ensure alignment on data standards, processes, and resource planning.
• Oversee the strategy and performance of vendors across all studies, including selection, budget management, timeline oversight, and quality assurance.
• Champion the standardization of data management processes and spearhead the development and implementation of SOPs to facilitate scalable and inspection-ready operations.
• Establish and uphold efficient processes for database construction, data cleaning, and data review across studies, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Lead the database strategy, encompassing build, validation, and locking processes across studies to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, and Safety to ensure alignment on study execution and data quality.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Health Sciences, or a related field is required.
• At least 12 years of data management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry.
• Proven experience in team leadership and management.
• Ability to guide, mentor, and develop team members effectively.
• Extensive experience in the Oncology therapeutic area is essential.
• Demonstrated capability in managing CRO relationships and overseeing data management deliverables.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and efficiency in work processes.
