Senior Director, Business Performance – Corporate Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and manage the Corporate Affairs Business Performance function, defining its operational model, priorities, and success metrics.

• Build and lead a diverse team comprising business performance, transformation, and data analytics specialists.

• Oversee intricate, high-stakes transformation projects within Corporate Affairs alongside enterprise partners.

• Identify and execute improvements in business performance that enhance execution, streamline processes, and boost organizational efficiency.

• Spearhead change management and organizational preparedness initiatives for new technologies, capabilities, processes, and operational frameworks.

• Direct the Corporate Affairs Data, Insights & Analytics function, encompassing strategy, governance, and data standards.

• Create executive dashboards, performance reports, and actionable insights to inform business decisions.

• Collaborate with HR and Corporate Affairs leaders to design onboarding, training, and capability-building programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 5 years of experience in business performance, strategy, business operations, analytics, planning, transformation, or a related field; or a master's degree with 8 years; or a bachelor's degree with 10 years.

• Extensive progressive experience in business performance, transformation, operational excellence, organizational effectiveness, analytics, management consulting, or a related field.

• Proven success in establishing or leading business performance and transformation capabilities within a complex, global organization.

• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from assessment and solution design to implementation and measurable value realization.

• Strong grasp of data, analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, automation, and technology-driven operating models.

• Experience in biotechnology, biopharma, healthcare, or another highly regulated and science-oriented industry is highly preferred.

• Background in supporting Corporate Affairs, communications, public affairs, reputation management, or another stakeholder-facing role is preferred.

• Ability to influence senior leadership, navigate uncertainty, and ensure accountability across a matrixed organization.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams that integrate business, transformation, analytics, and technical expertise.
