Senior Director – Business Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Shape the go-to-market strategy by analyzing and identifying the ideal positioning to effectively deploy our science, models, and products.

• Forge Strategic Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and manage key partnerships with stakeholders in the biopharma sector.

• Drive Revenue Growth and Achieve Targets: Propel revenue growth by meeting or surpassing business development objectives. Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics to guide strategic choices.

• Engage Stakeholders: Actively represent Bioptimus at industry events, conferences, and through digital channels. Create and deliver persuasive pitches and presentations to captivate potential clients and partners. Sustain robust relationships with current partners and stakeholders while continuously broadening the company’s network.

• Foster Teamwork and Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and product development, to ensure that business strategies and goals are aligned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Business or Science (or equivalent experience).

• Expert-level experience in a relevant field (selling to Pharma & Biotech) with a demonstrated history of business impact.

• Knowledge of AI models to enhance early research, clinical development, trial optimization, biomarker discovery, and diagnostics.

• Familiarity with the biomedical ecosystem and the biomedical data lifecycle.

• Understanding of SaaS/software business models.

• Proven experience in achieving and exceeding challenging sales targets.

• Flexibility and creativity in addressing complex customer challenges.

• Extensive knowledge and a broad network within large pharmaceutical R&D in the US/EU.

• Excellent time management and record-keeping abilities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• A ‘team-first’ mentality.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
