This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Supervise all aspects of business development efforts to ensure that both business and financial goals are met.
• Oversee the creation of new strategic business opportunities and cultivate relationships.
• May advise management on pursuing business partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures that enhance the organization's capabilities.
• Manage, expand, and optimize the HDT channel for the Asia and INDOPACOM regions.
• Evaluate potential business opportunities through activities such as market and economic analysis, tracking competitive actions, and identifying customer requirements.
• Lead and influence the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
• Collaborate with executive management to develop and implement current, annual, and long-term schedules, quality, business, and financial goals for the unit(s), and participate in formulating Group/Company objectives.
• Act as the main point of contact for business development.
• May conduct progress review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance, and continuously share information with all relevant parties regarding the achievement of project goals and objectives.
• Identify business development challenges and provide leadership in crafting solutions, such as reallocating resources or adjusting contract specifications.
• Ensure that business leadership and excellence are upheld by managing and participating in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of essential management, professional, and technical talent.
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations whenever and wherever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
• Accountable for ensuring that work is carried out safely in compliance with established operating procedures and practices.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive new product development, program positioning, and/or proposal responses.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the region.
• Bachelor's degree in Arts, Science, or a technical field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of business development experience is required.
• Familiarity with Asia-Pacific Defense and Emergency Support Markets.
• Previous U.S. Military background with INDOPACOM Joint Operations experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates a quality orientation and high attention to detail.
• This position requires access to or use of export-controlled technical data or technology regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Therefore, applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain the necessary export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce. A U.S. Person is defined as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or an individual protected under the Immigration and Naturalization Act (8 U.S.C. 1324(b)(a)(3)).
