This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for all sales development related to the Altair brands while overseeing the strategic growth of the brand.
• Collaborate with the North America Eyewear leader to devise and implement the Altair strategic plan.
• Hold responsibility for the overall Altair Profit and Loss (P&L) management.
• Inspire, mentor, and lead a team of regional sales managers, inside sales managers, and sales representatives.
• Achieve revenue targets, EBITDA goals, and enhance market share.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM and other analytical tools to track performance, forecast trends, and discover growth opportunities.
• Cultivate and sustain a high-performance culture centered on accountability, transparent expectations, and ongoing improvement.
• Guide teams in developing sales expertise and understanding of the Altair Brands.
• Manage the inside sales function, which includes staffing, pipeline management, outbound and inbound sales activities, call cadence, and conversion metrics to maximize revenue from existing and potential accounts.
• Set and evaluate inside sales KPIs such as call volume, quote activity, close rates, and average order value to ensure alignment with overall sales objectives.
• Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to guide strategic direction.
• Formulate and implement sales and business strategies.
• Monitor and assess sales performance, including goal achievement, margins, customer satisfaction, and territory management.
• Identify, assess, and implement sales training and tools to encourage continuous improvement in collaboration with the Sales Enablement team.
• Maintain relationships with all key accounts.
• Foster a proactive, visible relationship with the entire customer base.
• Develop the annual budget for the Sales Department and manage the Sales Department's Actual vs. Budgeted P&L, providing realistic forecasts for upcoming monthly sales.
• Analyze sales results and refine strategies to meet Altair brand sales and profitability objectives.
• Communicate closely with Sales Enablement, Supply Chain, Brand, Finance, Distribution, and Customer Services as necessary to manage overall Revenue and EBITDA targets.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Product/Sales Enablement teams to create profitable promotional programs and generate ideas for product development.
• Oversee the content, production, and distribution of all marketing materials, working closely with the Brand department and sales enablement.
• Assist in developing tools to enhance company efficiency and manage risks, collaborating closely with sales enablement.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 additional years of experience relevant to the functional area.
• Minimum of 6 years of management experience, including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing the performance of direct reports.
• Proven success in building effective sales teams.
• Experience in developing and managing budgeted versus actual P&L.
• Demonstrated capability to operate within a global organization, contributing to cross-functional plans and fostering stakeholder relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in job responsibilities.
• Domestic and international travel required, approximately 20% of work time.
• Eligible for bonuses and commissions.
