
Senior Director, Artificial Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish, develop, and manage the enterprise AI capability as an integral business function.
• Act as the primary authority for AI strategy, operational model, governance, and value realization across the organization.
• Ensure that AI projects yield quantifiable results across R&D, Clinical, Manufacturing, Quality, Commercial, and Corporate departments.
• Oversee the complete enterprise AI lifecycle, which includes strategy formulation, portfolio prioritization, operating model design, and governance frameworks.
• Lead the Enterprise AI Center of Excellence (CoE), enhance organizational capabilities through training programs, and collaborate with senior leaders to integrate AI into business workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) is preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in data, analytics, or AI/ML roles, including a minimum of 5+ years in leadership positions.
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling enterprise-level AI or data capabilities within complex organizations.
• Proven track record of operating in regulated environments (e.g., life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or similar sectors).
• Experience in designing and implementing governance frameworks for AI, data, and model risk management.
• History of delivering large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives that have measurable business impact.
• Experience in managing enterprise vendor ecosystems and technology investments.
