Senior Director, Analyst – CIO Market and Technology Platforms, Infrastructure and Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a key resource on Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) strategy for CIOs worldwide.

• Provide guidance to CIOs and their Heads of I&O on modernizing enterprise systems.

• Offer research insights and recommendations to CIOs regarding infrastructure technologies, market dynamics, and emerging trends.

• Examine industry trends, threat intelligence, and technology disruptions to predict potential risks.

• Share I&O research and thought leadership during discussions and at Gartner events.

• Assist clients in assessing and choosing I&O vendors and solutions.

• Work alongside other Gartner Analysts to create actionable research.

• Generate innovative and thought-provoking content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 12 years of pertinent field or industry experience as a CIO or Head of Infrastructure.

• Proven experience in developing an I&O strategy.

• Experience in transitioning and managing IT services.

• Background in optimizing IT service management processes.

• Expertise in automating operations.

• Excellent organizational abilities; capable of working under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality outputs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside analytical and presentation capabilities; able to engage clients and address inquiries effectively.

• Solid business and financial understanding.

• Ability to work autonomously, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams.
