• Develop innovative, thought-provoking, and highly impactful "must-have insights" content.
• Generate new insights and concepts through thought leadership, providing compelling and actionable solutions to meet client needs and demands, thereby enhancing their ability to take action.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses to uncover the root causes of a client’s challenges or overall requirements, reframing perspectives to propel strategic initiatives.
• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing Insight positions within a team of analysts.
• Present provocative and independent insights to Gartner leaders that could influence the direction of research agendas.
• Investigate, analyze, and forecast market trends and shifts to deliver actionable insights to clients and vendors.
• Offer clients and prospects actionable recommendations tailored to their specific content areas through virtual or in-person engagements.
• Design and present high-value materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings, both on stage and off.
• Assist BTI and Sales by providing market voice support to help Insights teams develop content and foster client engagement, aiding in the achievement of their essential business priorities.
• Ensure high-quality and timely peer review of content.
• Build credibility as an industry expert to effectively represent Gartner’s insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Engage actively in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating efficiently with colleagues in the Insights community.
• Identify opportunities for improving research processes or create new processes that enhance the team’s service delivery alongside BTI.
• Serve as a mentor and coach, offering support to junior team members.
• Maintain a client-centric approach while proactively encouraging clients to engage frequently with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of relevant industry or field experience.
• Background as a CMO or marketing leader in B2B companies, either at the corporate level or within large business units, or equivalent experience at an advertising agency.
• A well-informed understanding of the challenges faced by marketing leaders within enterprises and the factors driving business impact.
• Extensive experience in leading the development and execution of media strategies, including channel selection and audience validation.
• Demonstrate executive presence and the ability to establish immediate credibility with executives and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational abilities; capable of working under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables.
• Exhibit excellence in research and writing capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient analytical and presentation abilities; capable of engaging clients and responding effectively to inquiries.
• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis; able to apply patterns and frameworks effectively while formulating and defending conclusions related to client challenges.
• Outstanding communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale speaking engagements.
• Solid business and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area, including the interconnections within that market.
• Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support others' workflows in a multicultural global setting.
• Learning agility and adeptness at navigating highly matrixed environments.
• Ability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all organizational levels.
