This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop cutting-edge, engaging, and essential insights content that provokes thought.
• Generate new insights and concepts through thought leadership while offering actionable strategies to meet client requirements.
• Assess client challenges and needs to propel strategy forward.
• Establish insights positions within a team of analysts.
• Deliver independent insights to Gartner leaders and help shape research agendas.
• Conduct research, analysis, and forecasting of market trends and shifts.
• Offer actionable guidance to clients and prospects through both virtual and in-person interactions.
• Create and present materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
• Provide sales support by representing the voice of the market.
• Execute high-quality and timely peer reviews of content.
• Build credibility as an industry expert showcasing Gartner insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Insights community.
• Identify opportunities for research process enhancement and develop new procedures.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Promote consistent client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Preferred advanced degree (Master’s in STEM, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business/MBA, or PhD).
• Over 12 years of relevant experience in AI Infrastructure, Semiconductor research, Equity Research, Buy-Side Analysis, or Strategic Consulting within deep tech.
• Extensive technical proficiency in AI Infrastructure, Semiconductors, AI Hardware, Compute, and AI/IT Services.
• Proven success in technology research, semiconductor/hardware analysis, or technology-focused investment environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of investment lifecycles, market dynamics, and valuation drivers in the tech sector.
• Executive presence with the ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational abilities and capability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellence in research and writing.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing data while applying patterns and frameworks.
• Effective communication skills with the capability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Subject matter expertise with comfort in presenting at both large and small-scale speaking engagements.
• Strong business and financial insight.
• Extensive knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across diverse teams in a multicultural global environment.
• Learning agility and capacity to navigate complex, matrixed settings.
• Capability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies at all levels.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable.
