This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more states.
• Lead and guide Gartner clients by exploring emerging technologies and trends in the cybersecurity sector, focusing on AI data security and AI ecosystem data management.
• Develop and present strategic and tactical insights as well as research materials for Technology CEOs, Product and Innovation Leaders, Product Managers, and Marketing professionals.
• Create comprehensive written research reports, presentations, teleconference inquiries, and briefings.
• Mentor and oversee research on the evolution and implications of emerging technologies within the security market.
• Generate thought-provoking advice regarding the emergence, adoption, and disruptions of new technologies globally.
• Engage with Gartner clients and their teams during meetings, serving as a speaker both in-person and through videoconferencing.
• Expand the ETT team’s network of thought leaders, startups, and vendors for interviews and case-study research.
• Offer customized inquiries and briefings for Gartner clients on emerging technologies in security markets.
• Maintain the integrity of the team's research and analytical efforts.
• Collaborate with fellow analysts, case-based researchers, and service delivery associates throughout Gartner.
• This is an individual contributor position without direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree; a graduate degree is preferred or equivalent experience in the cybersecurity field with a specific focus on AI data security and AI ecosystem data management.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in AI data security and AI ecosystem data management markets.
• Familiarity with cloud and on-premises data visibility, classification, monitoring, and protection.
• Understanding of data management for AI model training, management, learning, and governance.
• Knowledge of data security practices for data at rest, in transit, and in use, including encryption and tokenization techniques.
• Familiarity with AI security platform architecture concerning data management.
• Experience or the capability to rapidly learn tools such as Pitchbook, CapIQ, TechCrunch, Bloomberg, and other financial data sources.
• Executive presence and the ability to gain credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
• Excellence in research and writing capabilities.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage clients and address their inquiries effectively.
• Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing data while applying relevant patterns and frameworks.
• Capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and succinctly.
• Comfortable presenting at events of various scales.
• Strong business and financial understanding.
• In-depth knowledge of the global competitive landscape related to the subject matter.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within multicultural global teams.
• Agility in learning and navigating highly matrixed environments.
