Security Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute vulnerability management remediation workflows, track findings, collaborate with engineering on solutions, and uphold service level agreements (SLAs).

• Oversee and prioritize SIEM alerts while fine-tuning detections to minimize noise and highlight significant activities.

• Strengthen the identity infrastructure and perform access reviews and provisioning across the SaaS landscape.

• Manage the device fleet, which includes enrollment, configuration profiles, and security policies.

• Ensure operating systems and applications are updated and monitor patch compliance.

• Review, package, and distribute software to endpoints.

• Provide comprehensive IT support across the organization for accounts, devices, and access-related issues.

• Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency.

• Collaborate with the security engineering team to maintain a secure internal environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–4 years of practical experience in IT support, help desk roles, or systems administration.

• Strong foundational knowledge in cloud and identity, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

• Proven interest in security through certifications like Security+, relevant coursework, home lab projects, Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, or related work experience.

• Capability to learn new tools and troubleshoot independently.

• Excellent written communication skills for clear ticketing, documentation, and runbooks.

• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) is an advantage.

• Experience with vulnerability management and patch management tools is a plus.

• Background in SIEM tuning, threat hunting, and log analysis is an added benefit.

• Familiarity with identity providers and SaaS administration is a bonus.
