Information Security Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist clients as they navigate their initial security audit

• Motivate clients to achieve higher standards of information security

• Educate and enable small to medium service providers in implementing robust controls to safeguard their assets

• Develop efficient control testing procedures

• Analyze the impact of risk on diverse business environments

• Conduct gap assessments

• Offer guidance for remediation and clarify necessary modifications

• Manage multiple projects concurrently at various stages

• Assess client information security practices

• Maintain communication with clients and team members

⛳️ Requirements

• High level of integrity

• Strong enthusiasm for educating clients on compliance standards such as SOC1, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA, HITRUST, GDPR, and ISO

• Exceptional professionalism in demeanor and appearance

• Proficient in designing effective control tests

• Knowledge and interpretation of risk across various business contexts

• Skills in gap analysis

• Capability to merge remediation advice with strong interpersonal skills

• At least one recognized certification such as CISSP, CISA, QSA, or GIAC

• Enthusiastic about managing multiple projects at different stages

• Proficient with technology

• Willingness to travel nationally, up to 30%-40% of the time

• Experience working in a virtual office setting

• Current CISSP certification is preferred for competitive candidates

• A minimum of ten years of experience in technology for competitive candidates

• Familiarity with information security auditing, either as an auditor or as a recipient of audits

• Strong technical and interpersonal abilities

• Capability to assess client information security practices

• Ability to comprehend client viewpoints and communicate effectively and transparently with clients and colleagues
