This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee comprehensive patient access, therapy initiation, and care coordination operations within Pharmacy Services.
• Set and pursue operational, quality, service, and financial goals.
• Create scalable operating models, workflows, and capabilities that promote growth and ongoing improvement.
• Spearhead transformation initiatives focused on process optimization, technology enablement, workforce effectiveness, and service innovation.
• Formulate strategies to enhance patient access, eliminate therapy barriers, and expedite speed-to-therapy.
• Coordinate patient onboarding, therapy readiness, and care transitions with clinical, pharmacy, nursing, and operational leaders.
• Advance site-of-care and access strategies that support patient outcomes and meet organizational objectives.
• Assist in growth initiatives, new client implementations, and service line expansions.
• Analyze market trends, reimbursement dynamics, payer policies, and emerging opportunities.
• Streamline technologies, automation, and business processes.
• Collaborate with payers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, health systems, and patient support organizations.
• Direct reimbursement, authorization, and market access operations.
• Enhance approval outcomes, minimize denials, manage reimbursement risks, and strengthen payer engagement.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Contracting, and Clinical leaders to optimize reimbursement processes.
• Take ownership of operational and financial performance, including productivity, service levels, labor efficiency, reimbursement outcomes, quality, and profitability.
• Lead budget development, workforce planning, resource allocation, and organizational prioritization.
• Utilize analytics and performance insights to inform decisions and achieve business objectives.
• Report performance, strategic initiatives, and operational results to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, payer, and organizational standards.
• Establish governance that supports audit readiness, reimbursement integrity, quality outcomes, and consistent execution.
• Build and cultivate a high-performing leadership team through coaching, succession planning, and capability development.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Manage change, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations leadership.
• 6+ years of experience managing large-scale patient access, specialty pharmacy, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, reimbursement, market access, or care coordination organizations.
• Proven track record in leading multi-functional teams across patient onboarding, reimbursement, authorization, financial assistance, care coordination, or similar operational areas.
• Experience in guiding large teams through operational transformation, growth, and process optimization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of payer processes, insurance verification, benefit investigations, prior authorizations, reimbursement programs, market access dynamics, and patient access operations.
• Proven capability to influence and collaborate with executive leadership teams.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field.
• Preferred: Master's degree, such as MBA, MHA, MPH, or a related discipline.
• Preferred experience in specialty pharmacy, home infusion, ambulatory care, patient access, reimbursement, market access, or patient support services.
• Preferred experience in supporting health system partnerships and large-scale operational implementations.
• Preferred experience in collaborating with payer relations, contracting, revenue cycle, pharmaceutical manufacturers, or patient support program partners.
• If working remotely, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum speed of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is required.
• Remote work may be available on an occasional or permanent basis, contingent upon having cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
