Senior Digital Product Designer, Emerging Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Africa.

📋 Description

• Drive the complete digital experience from initial concept to implementation, ensuring a refined and visually appealing outcome.

• Address ambiguous and complex UX challenges from definition to resolution.

• Design, prototype, and evaluate experiences that simplify intricate processes and enhance clarity.

• Infuse a strong UI and visual aesthetic into our on-vehicle display, producing pixel-perfect designs ready for engineering handoff.

• Present work regularly during design reviews and foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate intimately with cross-functional partners across Design, Product, Engineering, Brand, and Content teams to create thoughtful experiences that align user needs with strategic business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing impactful digital products, with proven ownership of complex, consumer-facing experiences.

• A portfolio that highlights exceptional product thinking, refined UI craftsmanship, and the ability to simplify complex systems—demonstrating your thought process as well as your outputs.

• Proficient in Figma, with hands-on experience using component libraries to create pixel-perfect designs.

• A strong history of establishing trusted partnerships across design, product, and engineering disciplines.

• Proven ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative insights to drive product success and inform design choices.

• Comfort in navigating uncertainty and adapting swiftly in a dynamic environment.

• Outstanding communication skills—you can effectively convey design rationale to engineers, executives, and all team members.

• Experience integrating digital and physical product experiences, preferably with connected hardware or in-vehicle contexts where software and real-world interactions converge.
