This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as the primary employee communications partner for the Group, supporting strategic objectives and ensuring colleagues remain safe, engaged, and connected as One Biffa.
• Design and implement comprehensive internal communication plans and campaigns that enhance engagement, comprehension, and business performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to produce clear and compelling communications that promote change, safety, culture, and employee experience.
• Lead and enhance Biffa’s internal communication channels, ensuring that content effectively reaches the appropriate audiences via the right channels.
• Develop high-quality content, leadership messaging, and campaign materials that effectively convey business priorities.
• Work alongside Brand, Strategic Communications, Public Affairs, and Digital teams to provide integrated, audience-oriented communications.
• Ensure all communications are aligned with the Biffa brand, tone of voice, and overarching corporate affairs strategy.
• Leverage data, employee insights, and performance metrics to assess impact, identify risks, and continually enhance communication effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in executing employee or internal communications, including campaigns, channels, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong knowledge of internal communications platforms, content management systems, and campaign planning processes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
• Data-driven mindset, utilizing insights and performance metrics to assess impact and enhance results.
• Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to establish strong relationships across teams and departments.
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
