Senior DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Establish, implement, and provide support for the technological solutions that ensure our systems operate efficiently and securely.

• Construct and uphold CI/CD pipelines that facilitate our production deployments, ensuring releases are swift and dependable.

• Design and continually enhance our monitoring and alerting systems to detect issues before they escalate into problems.

• Develop and sustain "infrastructure as code" configurations to manage our cloud environments on AWS and Cloudflare.

• Execute methodologies and procedures that enhance the resilience of our systems, enabling them to recover autonomously from failures with minimal or no manual intervention.

• Serve as a vital communication link across departments, connecting engineering with the broader organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical AWS experience, preferably with at least one Associate-level AWS certification.

• Strong expertise in infrastructure, database, and network administration for highly available and scalable applications.

• Proficient knowledge of Linux System Administration and Bash scripting.

• Demonstrated experience with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS Serverless technologies.

• Understanding of web services, APIs, and RESTful architecture.

• A thorough understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.

• Experience in managing cloud infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Familiarity with the open-source monitoring stack, particularly Grafana.

• A development background, including experience in Python, Node.js, and Nginx configuration.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for tracing issues back to their root causes.
