DevOps Engineer, Observability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and execution of our innovative, integrated observability platform.

• Concentrate on developing an advanced observability pipeline utilizing a contemporary, open-source-focused stack on AWS.

• Take charge of deploying, setting up, and integrating a range of tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps/Observability.

• Demonstrated capability to design and implement comprehensive observability pipelines using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.

• Extensive knowledge in centralizing AWS telemetry, covering multi-account CloudTrail organization trails and cross-account CloudWatch metrics/logs.

• Significant experience in formulating log aggregation strategies and configuring Splunk HTTP Event Collector (HEC) integrations.

• Practical experience in constructing extensive alerting frameworks using Alertmanager and CloudWatch Alarms.

• Advanced skills in writing Terraform modules.

• Familiarity with deploying Prometheus and OTel in Kubernetes (EKS) or containerized (ECS) settings.
