Customer Reliability Engineer, Airflow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Acquire and develop expertise in various software engineering fields, such as Airflow, data engineering, Kubernetes, and Cloud Engineering.

• Address complex Airflow issues for our clients.

• Collaborate directly with our clients’ data engineers, system administrators, DevOps teams, and management.

• Engage remotely as part of a completely distributed team.

• Assist in maintaining 24/7 coverage through a designated 6-hour pager shift during your working hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Python.

• At least 1 year of experience in Airflow administration and creating DAGs.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and container technologies.

• Experience with distributed systems using any major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with our clients via the ticketing system and Zoom.

• Previous experience mentoring junior team members.
