This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take charge of the infrastructure architecture and operations for StartaleApp, Strium, and other production systems.
• Design, construct, and manage a highly available AWS cloud infrastructure, encompassing Kubernetes clusters, networking, storage, scaling, and upgrades.
• Administer infrastructure as code through Terraform, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring safe rollouts and rollbacks.
• Operate PostgreSQL in a production environment, focusing on availability, replication, backups, performance, and recovery.
• Establish observability across infrastructure, applications, databases, and blockchain nodes, providing early incident alerts.
• Manage blockchain infrastructure, including nodes, RPC services, and indexers; oversee sync, connectivity, and transaction processing at the protocol level.
• Design disaster recovery and failover strategies for critical systems.
• Enhance security through access control, secrets management, vulnerability management, and monitoring.
• Diagnose full-stack production incidents and eliminate operational bottlenecks via automation.
• Must be located within a US time zone (UTC-8 to UTC-5), whether in the US, Canada, or Latin America; working US hours from outside these regions is not acceptable.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven track record of building and managing production infrastructure for highly available systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Linux.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform, along with GitOps practices and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing, TLS, and service discovery.
• Experience with PostgreSQL in production, focusing on replication, backups, recovery, and performance.
• Knowledge of high-availability design, incident response, root-cause analysis, and capacity planning.
• Practical experience in operating blockchain infrastructure (nodes, RPC, indexers, validators, or data pipelines).
• Comprehension of how distributed blockchain networks can fail.
• English is the primary working language for engineering.
• Experience in SecOps or cloud security, production hardening, AWS security services, and IAM design are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with bare-metal operations, Helm or ArgoCD, Kafka or NATS, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Ethereum, Polkadot, L2 ecosystems, financial/trading systems, AI infrastructure workflows, Go, Rust, or TypeScript are strong advantages.
