Senior DevOps Engineer – OpenShift, Python Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain comprehensive CI/CD automation pipelines for web applications and microservices built in Python.

• Take charge of the deployment lifecycle by executing, managing, and overseeing web application releases into both staging and production settings.

• Serve as the gatekeeper for production environments, defining, enforcing, and governing release standards.

• Automate the provisioning of infrastructure and manage configurations using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.

• Function as the main technical liaison, connecting Python developers with the IT Operations team.

• Oversee, configure, and enhance application deployments on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.

• Establish thorough monitoring and observability for the OpenShift platform as well as Python applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a DevOps, Release Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.

• Proven experience in governing, managing, and executing complex web application releases in a dynamic environment.

• Established track record of building and maintaining robust automated CI/CD pipelines from the ground up.

• Strong practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, including deployments, configmaps, routes, and persistent volumes.

• In-depth understanding of Python development paradigms, dependency management (Pip, Poetry), and web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).

• Excellent communication, governance, and negotiation abilities in English.
